Help Layne Get the Surgery He Needs
For the past three years, Layne has been living in pain—enduring a whirlwind of symptoms with no clear answers. After countless doctor visits, hospital stays, and moments of heartbreak and frustration, his family never gave up. They continued to fight, and search.
And finally—they have a diagnosis.
Layne has been diagnosed with Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS), a rare and painful condition caused by compression of the celiac artery. This condition has taken a serious toll on his daily life, but now there is a plan for surgery that can finally offer him relief.
Layne and his family, have been traveling back and forth to the Mayo Clinic for extensive testing and to develop a surgical plan. He will be returning soon for a week-long stay to undergo a complex and risky surgery to relieve the compression. Because the affected artery lies so close to the aorta, this is no small procedure—but it offers real hope.
While they are deeply grateful to have answers and a path toward healing, the financial burden has been immense. Between medical bills, flights, hotel stays, meals, and missed work, it’s a lot for one family to carry alone.
Our goal is to help lift some of that financial weight so Layne’s family can focus fully on what matters most: his health and recovery.
Any amount helps, and if you’re not in a position to give right now, your prayers and shares mean just as much.
Thank you for being part of Layne’s journey to healing!!
