Help Layne Kensinger Recover After Head-On Collision
Donation protected
Update: Layne is now in Craig Hospital in Denver where they specialize in Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord injuries. We don’t know how long the journey will last, but are so grateful for your ongoing support.
History: On the evening of April 19th—just a day b efore Easter—our beloved 15-year-old nephew, Layne Kensinger, was involved in a tragic head-on collision. Layne, a bright, funny, and talented freshman who wrestles for his high school team, was a passenger in the vehicle and suffered severe injuries.
He was rushed to the ER where he underwent emergency surgery. Since then, he has endured three additional surgeries and was recently airlifted to Colorado to begin intensive rehabilitation for a traumatic brain injury. His road to recovery will be long and uncertain, but we remain hopeful, and so does Layne—his strength and spirit continue to shine through.
We are raising money to help cover:
• Mounting medical expenses
• Travel and lodging costs during treatment and rehab
• Lost income for his family as they miss work to be by his side
• Ongoing therapy and recovery needs
Every donation—no matter the amount—will make a real difference in Layne’s recovery and help ease the financial burden on his family. If you can’t give, please share this campaign and keep Layne in your thoughts and prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time. We’re hopeful because of people like you!
