My name is Heather and I am trying to raise money for a family very close to us whose daughter Layla who is 8 years old was in a horrible sled riding accident on January 1st. Layla unfortunately went face first into a telephone pole while sled riding and had severe injuries that required a 5 day hospital stay at children's hospital and had to have surgery to repair bottom teeth that were pushed all the way back and 2 front teeth that were pushed up into the gums and fractured both top and bottom main bones inside the gums that needed repaired. She also broke her nose on both side along with other trauma to her face. This is going to be a long healing process and possibly more surgeries as she went today to see a plastic surgeon about her nose however there is still to much swelling for them to make a decision so they will be going back next week. I truly just want to relieve any stress of the medical bills to come/any upfront payments, missing work and making ends meet so they can focus on Laylas healing and appts and anymore possible surgeries. Anything would be a great help for this amazing family including all thoughts and prayers for their baby! Thank you in advance I will give updates as they are available!
