"My name is Layla Jabr, a mother who urgently needs help. I'm trying to keep my four children alive amidst the wreckage of our lives. Before the conflict, my husband was a skilled car mechanic, working hard to support us. Today, he's helpless; his shop was destroyed, and the injury to his hand has left him unable to do any manual labor. We are struggling to survive. I have four lives that depend on me: my daughter and son (7 and 5 years old) wake up hungry; my son (1 year and 10 months old) needs basic necessities that we can't find; he is suffering from asthma due to inhaling hazardous fumes when our home was destroyed; and most urgently, my two-month-old baby girl. She is not breastfed and relies entirely on formula. In our current situation, milk is either unavailable or unaffordable. I watch her weaken every day because I can't feed her. We have lost our income, our security, and my husband's ability to work. We desperately need food, clean water, diapers, baby formula, and medicine.
