Layla is currently receiving care at Boston Children’s Hospital, where doctors discovered a rare and very severe cardiac condition. She remains in the Cardiac Unit, requiring critical medications.

While Layla receives the specialized care she needs, insurance does not cover all of the costs associated with her CICU stay, treatments, and procedures. Both her mother and father, Sarah and Matt have been by her side.

At home, her brother and sister, Charlie and Annie, miss her dearly. Their family is facing the heartbreaking reality that they won’t be home together for Christmas.
