Hi everyone, I am Bela! I am a student going into nursing, working in a senior living facility in activities & as a CNA, & became a dog mom when I adopted my best friend, Layla, in July.
Layla is the sweetest one-year-old puppy you’ll ever meet. She is very friendly; she loves meeting new people, dogs, & kids! Layla even loves visiting the nursing home to hang out with the residents. Her favorite thing to do is go out & play, but as of lately, she’s in pain after playing…
My sweet puppy unfortunately has to get surgery for both her kneecaps. As she was growing up, I took her to the vet many times & got lots of x-rays done, due to her limping anytime she played, ran, or jumped. There have been many times where she is in so much pain that she won’t want to eat & struggles to stand up. The vet kept telling me it was just growing pains, until I took her somewhere else & found out she was born with displaced kneecaps or “floating kneecaps”.
She will need patellar luxation repair surgery on both kneecaps, which will be a long & tough recovery for her, but it will 100% be worth it, so she can run & play freely without any pain.
Please help us get Layla’s surgery done by sharing or donating, so she can finally be a puppy & play with no worries or pain!!
Layla has also just recently recovered from having pneumonia & bronchitis for 3 months, so this poor pup can’t catch a break.
Thank you so very much for your help!
It really means the world to us ❤️
