Layla is the friendliest dog ever, and she’s been through so much since joining our family. Recently, our lives were turned upside down by an apartment fire caused by a neglectful landlord who refused to fix major issues in our home. We did our best to handle repairs ourselves, but nothing could have prepared us for the fire that left Layla with severe burns and ongoing respiratory problems.

Since the fire, Layla’s recovery has been a long and difficult journey. She’s suffered burns all over her body, including her face, and every day is a new challenge. We’ve been making constant trips to the vet, doing everything we can to help her heal, but it feels like there’s always another setback. Despite it all, Layla has shown incredible strength and a fighting spirit that inspires us every day.
