I’m currently homeless and facing urgent dental needs, including the need for 4 dental implants, and I’m asking for help to stabilize my life.
Hello my name is Layla and I’m reaching out because I’m in a difficult situation and need help to get back on my feet. Over the past few years, I’ve faced a series of challenges that have left me homeless, struggling financially, and dealing with the aftermath of serious trauma.
- In June 2021, I was a passenger and survived a near-fatal car accident which caused emotional trauma and also led to complicated legal and family issues. After the car accident my family abandoned me. It's been hard the last two years. I was a victim of domestic abuse in my own home and as a result became homeless. i have been navigating this homeless journey with no family support. I work part time it's a full time job being homeless. I can't seem to get ahead always in survival mode. I have spent thousands of dollars on storage, essential living supplies, and basic needs like food, shelter, and hotel expenses just to stay safe. In addition, I have been navigating major dental issues the last 3 months that has affected my speech, bite and self esteem. Not to mention the financial stress and burden. I found out yesterday after a dental appointment that I will needing 4 dental implants for my front teeth.
I am asking for help to cover essentials such as:
* Safe and stable housing
* Help with much needed dental care expenses for dental implants
*perhaps travel to visit my grandchildren, I have not seen them in four years
