Help Laykin Make It Home

Hi, my name is Laykin. I'm three months old and I am in a pretty tough spot right now. My parents love me more than anything in the world, and everyone who knows them can see that. On Tuesday, July 20th, 2021, I was life flighted to Kansas City, Missouri, after I stopped breathing and suffered multiple seizures and bleeding on my brain. This is my fourth day in the Intensive-Care-Unit. I have been sedated, and with a feeding tube, and a picc line, and an EEG to monitor seizure activity. I have had four more seizures, and more swelling to my brain. I have had blood transfusions and have a low hemoglobin level. My neurologist says my eyes are already starting to fail. The doctors and staff are doing all they can to make sure I make it home to my loving and caring family. Especially my fat and funny uncle Chris. He's the best.
