This is incredibly hard for me to ask, but I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my sweet dog, Laycee. She’s a 10-year-old girl who has been by my side since she was just 8 weeks old. Laycee is way more than just a pet — she’s family. She’s grown up with me, comforted me through every high and low, and brought endless love into our home.

Unfortunately, Laycee has developed severe arthritis in her hip, and after many vet visits, medications, and second opinions, it’s become clear: she needs a hip replacement to have a real chance at a comfortable, pain-free life.

Watching her struggle to walk, hesitate before jumping up, or wince from simply standing breaks my heart. She still has so much life and love left in her — but without this surgery, her quality of life will continue to decline.

The surgery is very costly, and while we’re doing everything we can to explore financing options and assistance programs, it’s more than we can manage alone. Every donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward Laycee’s medical costs, recovery, and follow-up care.
