My name is Layan Albarrawi, a 15-year-old girl from Gaza.

Before the war, I lived a simple life — but one filled with love and warmth — alongside my small family: my father, my mother, my three sisters, and my brother.

We used to laugh, dream, and hold onto hope, even when life was difficult.

But then the war took everything from us.

Our home was completely destroyed in a violent airstrike. My father was killed right before our eyes.

We were forced to flee to what was called a “safe zone” — but in reality, it’s unfit for life. We now live in a tent with no clean water, no enough food, and none of the basic necessities of survival.

Today, I am the youngest daughter in a family that is doing everything it can to survive under inhumane conditions.

My mother carries the burden of everything after losing my father, and my siblings fight every day to keep the spark of hope alive in my heart.

Each day feels like a year of pain.

Soaring prices, food shortages, no medicine, and freezing cold nights — they threaten our lives every single moment.

This is why I’m writing to you today.

I’m asking for your help — even a little — because every donation, no matter how small, could save our lives.

أنا ليان، فتاة من غزة أبلغ من العمر 15 عامًا.

قبل الحرب، كنت أعيش حياة بسيطة لكنها مليئة بالحب والدفء مع عائلتي الصغيرة: أبي، أمي، ثلاث شقيقات، وأخي. كنا نضحك، نحلم، ونعيش كأي أسرة تحب بعضها رغم صعوبة الحياة.

لكن الحرب سرقت كل شيء.

منزلنا دُمّر بالكامل في قصف عنيف، واستشهد والدي أمام أعيننا.

نزحنا بعد ذلك إلى منطقة يُقال إنها "آمنة"، ولكنها لا تصلح للعيش، فقط خيمة بلا ماء نظيف، ولا طعام كافٍ، ولا حتى أدنى مقومات الحياة.

أنا الآن الأخت الصغرى في عائلة تحاول النجاة وسط ظروف لا يتحملها بشر.

أمي تتحمل كل الأعباء وحدها بعد فقدان والدي، وإخوتي يحاولون جاهدين إبقاء الأمل حيًا في قلبي.

كل يوم نعيشه أشبه بسنة من الألم.

ارتفاع الأسعار الجنوني، نقص الطعام، غياب الدواء، والبرد القارس... كلها تهدد حياتنا في كل لحظة.

ولهذا أكتب إليكم اليوم،

أطلب منكم المساعدة – ولو بالقليل – لأن كل مساهمة، مهما كانت بسيطة، قد تنقذ حياتي وحياة أمي وإخوتي.

تبرعكم قد يعني لنا الأمان، المأوى، والقدرة على الصمود.
