On Friday, my son Zackary Austin Komm was taken from us far too soon at just 26 years old. Zackary was a kind, gentle man with a big heart and an unforgettable sense of humor. He was the kind of person who could make anyone laugh, and his southern accent and goofball personality brought so much joy to our family. Despite his struggles with schizophrenia, Zackary always tried to support his siblings—Ashley, Andrea, Kaitlyn, and Colton—and loved spending time with his Nana, his nieces, and his nephew. As his mom, I am heartbroken to say goodbye to someone so loving and full of dreams.

We are now facing the difficult task of arranging Zackary’s cremation and funeral services at Davenports Funeral Home. I want to give him the respectful farewell he deserves, but I am struggling financially and cannot cover these costs on my own.
