Help Fulfill Yvonne's Final Wishes

Story

My name is Josh. My wife Yvonne and I fell in love 40 years ago and have shared so much joy and beauty together. She has always been the one to make my calmer head prevail and she made me know what unconditional means after I had a childhood that need not be listed here. Last Wednesday she became overwhelmingly sick overnight and bleeding profusely. For 8 days she stayed so strong and present, but finally lost her fight with liver failure. For 3 years I've been out of work due first to getting a severe hernia at the height of COVID, then having 2 botched surgeries before a third successful one, and by that time the long term reduced mobility and weight gain had caused my knee to become practically unwalkable. After my state disability ran out we had only her partial permanent disability to live on, plus what little copywriting gigs I can score online. Went through what little savings was left, cancelled everything including the life insurance we could no longer afford and were just squeaking by. Through all that she was the healthy one. Even when we lost my nephew, my twins and my Dad in the space of 22 months she never failed to carry me when I felt I could no longer stand. I wouldn't come to strangers this way if not for her lifelong wishes of refusing cremation. She's always wanted to be buried beside her Dad and Grandpa. We live in a fairly small community and funeral services are cheaper than most places, but there is just nothing left. The last thing I can do for her in this world is to lay her to rest beside her Dad the way she always asked. Thank you for your time and compassion, and for helping me do one last thing for my sweet Yvonne. It is not yet possible to set a memorial date. I will keep you all updated as I know more.
