Hello, my name is Jackie Brooks and I am trying to raise funds to cover expenses for the funeral and cemetery plot of William Clayton Brooks. Most of you know who he was, but for those of you who don't, he was my husband for many years. We always remained close and very good friends. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January 2025, and succumbed to this disease on May 30th, 2025. He was 65 years old and had a lot of life left in him! This illness hit him quickly and was very hard to accept. Clayton was a larger-than-life person with a booming voice and laugh! He battled many things throughout his years, but what he did have was the love of his family, his children, grandchildren, and his siblings. He also had a great love of God, was very, very spiritual, and read the Bible thoroughly. And he had the best bear hugs! I will miss him dearly. The family needs help raising money to cover the cost of his funeral and his cemetery plot, as he did not have money set aside for this and the family is not able to come up with the amount needed by themselves.
