My grandma, Vita Tambunga, was a very special person who always cared deeply for her family and friends. She worked her entire life, only stopping a few months before she passed away. Despite facing the heartbreaking loss of both her sons and her husband, Vita remained an energetic and loving presence in our lives. She loved to dance and would always be the first to get the party started, grabbing anyone nearby to join her on the dance floor. She was also an avid bingo player, always looking forward to her next game. Her generosity knew no bounds—she would give you her last penny if you ever needed it.
Vita passed away on February 14th, Valentine's Day. Her passing on such a meaningful day saddened us deeply, but we know she is at peace. She did not have life insurance to help cover the costs of her funeral and burial. Our family is now trying to raise the funds needed to give her the farewell she truly deserves. The money raised will go directly to the funeral home costs and burial expenses. We are hoping to raise the funds by the 26th so we can continue with our plans to have her services and burial on the 27th, helping us honor her memory in the way she would have wanted.
Vita leaves behind many grandchildren and siblings who will miss her dearly. Any support you can give would mean so much to our family during this difficult time. Thank you for helping us celebrate Vita's life and legacy.
