Help Lay Papa Joe to Rest – Funeral & Final Expenses for Sylvanus "Joe” Gall AKA Papa Joe

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Joe Gall on June 2nd.

Joe was a good man, a loving husband, a devoted father, and the best Papa anyone could ever ask for. To those who knew him—whether through darts, poker nights, or karaoke—you’ll remember his big heart, his love of tinkering, and his deep joy in family (and of course, his signature ponytail and motorcycle).

He was also genuinely funny—always quick with a joke and ready with a story. He made people laugh, feel welcome, and feel loved. His warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.

He loved his family unconditionally, and we are so grateful to have known him, to have been loved by him, and to carry his memory close to our hearts.

Joe fought cancer bravely until the end, but his body could not overcome it all. We now take comfort knowing he is pain-free, dancing in Heaven, and waiting patiently for us all to reunite one day.

We are raising funds to help cover Papa Joe’s funeral and final expenses. All funds will go directly to his beloved wife, Nancy, to ensure he is laid to rest with the dignity and honor he deserves—as a veteran and as the incredible man he was.
