Hi everyone,
My name is Jackie, and I’ve created this GoFundMe in loving support of my dear friend/sister of over 25 years, Darlene Clark.
On July 31, 2025, Darlene experienced the unimaginable — the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her beautiful daughter, Trellis Anderson, at only 35 years old.
Trellis was a devoted single mother raising three amazing young boys. That day, she had just finished enrolling two of her sons in middle school and called her mother to share some exciting news: Trey had been accepted into the gifted program — a surprise she could not wait to share with him.
But during that phone call, Trellis began to complain she wasn’t feeling well and was struggling to breathe. Darlene could tell that her condition started to worsen. Darlene, still on the line, immediately called 911 and rushed to her daughter’s home, beating the ambulance. The ambulance took Trellis to the hospital. Within 30 minutes of Darlene's arrival, she received every parent’s worst nightmare: her daughter had passed away.
At just 35, most of us haven’t given much thought about funeral planning. Unfortunately, Trellis was no exception. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your help.
We’re raising funds to assist Darlene in laying her daughter to rest, and to provide some relief and support for Trellis’s three sons, who are now facing life without their mother.
Trellis leaves behind three incredible young men:
Cameron (18) – A mature and hardworking recent high school graduate. His mother was in the process of teaching him to drive. He plans to continue his education and enter into a welding program. He currently works at a fast-food restaurant and has done so while still attending high school.
Trey (13) – An intelligent and gifted young student who loves math and science and dreams of becoming an engineer. He’s entering 8th grade this fall.
⚡ Ayden (11) – The youngest of the three, full of energy, joy, and a smile that lights up every room.
These boys have lost their mother far too soon. Darlene is not only grieving the loss of her daughter but stepping up to care for her grandsons and guide them through this tragedy.
