Help Lay Tolu to Rest with Dignity
Donation protected
Hi. We are the students of MRes Environmental Management at the University of Bolton. Our dear classmate, Tolu from Nigeria, sadly passed away a few nights ago.
Tolu was intelligen, brilliant guy. He had a mind that could light up a room just as much as his quiet smile did. He saw things differently, with depth and insight that made you pause and think. You could have a five-minute conversation with him and leave feeling like you’d just had a masterclass.
He was kind, resilient, and full of hope despite facing many hardships. He spent long weeks in hospital, bravely fighting through difficult times. Unfortunately, he has now left this world, far away from his family, all alone. His loved ones are in Nigeria and, heartbreakingly, The funeral costs are far beyond what his family can afford, and they are not even able to travel to the UK to attend the burial of their beloved son and see him for the last time.
Therefore, we are trying to raise funds to give Tolu the dignified and respectful funeral he truly deserves, here in the UK. He suffered so much in life, and we want to make sure he is laid to rest with the love, care, and respect he was worthy of.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
