My name is Peyton, and I am raising funds to honor my mother, Teri Knott. Teri was born on August 17, 1961, in Ohio and moved to Florida as a teenager. She made Sanford, Florida her home since the 1990s, where she built a life filled with love, kindness, and family. Teri was married to Robert Knott for over 30 years, and together they raised nine children: Robert Ross, Kelly Ross, Bryan Knott, Michael Knott, Peyton Knott, Katelyn Knott, Richard Knott, Catherine Knott, and Robert "Marshall" Knott. She was also a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren. Teri always dreamed of having a big family, and she made sure everyone felt loved and cared for. She was the kind of person who would help anyone in need, whether it was with a warm meal or a listening ear. Her generosity and compassion touched so many lives in our community. For the past two years, Teri fought bravely through countless hospital stays due to liver failure. She spent several months in the hospital, holding onto hope for a liver transplant. Despite her incredible strength and determination, her body could not endure any more, and she passed away on January 23, 2026. Teri was a true warrior, and her spirit will always be remembered. We are now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye and ensuring she is laid to rest with dignity, alongside her beloved husband, Robert Knott. All funds raised will go directly toward her funeral expenses, helping us give her the farewell she deserves.
