In Loving Memory of Tariq Muhammad

Our beloved brother, Tariq Muhammad, was a light in every room he entered — loving, funny, talented, and peaceful. He was a family man through and through, working hard every day and coming home to give his time, laughter, and warmth to those he loved most.

Tariq had a heart that overflowed with love. He was protective and giving, always putting his family first. He had a goofy smile, a calming spirit, and a creativity that amazed us all — whether through his art, his jokes, or the games he created. He found joy in the little things: painting with our younger sister, skating with his brothers, or playing games with the children.

He was only 21 years old, on his way home from work, when his life was tragically taken from us. Though we couldn’t be there to hold him in his final moments, kind strangers stood by him, prayed for him, and showed him love when we could not — and for that, we are forever grateful.

Tariq was more than what any headline could ever say. He was our brother, our peace, our protector, and our joy. We thank Allah for blessing us with his light, even if only for a short time.
