Help Us Lay Steven Cuffee to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Steven Cuffee, who left us on May 24, 2025. He will be laid to rest on June 9, 2025.

Earlier this month, Steven was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 glioma, an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer. In a matter of weeks, his health declined rapidly. Despite our hopes and the strength he showed through it all, Steven experienced complications during a medical procedure that ultimately led to his passing.

Steven was a kind, generous soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. As a devoted father and grandfather, he always put his family first — showing up with love, guidance, and support, no matter the circumstance. His warmth, wisdom, and selflessness left a lasting legacy that we will carry with us forever.

To make this even more difficult, the burial insurance policy Steven had in place was so new that the claim has been contestable and denied, leaving our family to cover the full cost of his services.

We are raising $10,000 to help cover burial, funeral services, and related expenses, including travel for out-of-state family coming to say their final goodbyes. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward honoring Steven’s memory in the way he truly deserves.
