Silas, my niece's 3-year-old grandson, was tragically killed in a tractor accident on Thursday, 4/23/26. This heartbreaking event has been shared widely on the news and social media, touching many who knew and loved him. Silas was a shining light to his mom, little brother, and especially his Mimi. In a world of uncertainty, he always brought a smile to everyone around him. He did not deserve the horrible fate that befell him.
The accident was made even more devastating by the actions of his father, who fled the scene and caused a delay in calling 911. Silas was crushed to death due to his father's negligence. Our family is struggling to come to terms with this tragedy, and we are doing everything we can to honor Silas' memory and support his mother, who also has a 3-month-old son. The burial plot for Silas was generously donated, but we still need help covering the costs of his casket, the opening and closing of the grave, and funeral services.
We are asking for help from anyone who can donate. All funds collected will go directly toward Silas' final resting place. If you are unable to donate, please share this page and send prayers and love to our family. We are shattered by this loss and are simply trying to ease the pain and keep Silas' memory alive.
