Shawn Booker was a beloved brother who faced many challenges in his life, including ongoing mental health struggles. While incarcerated at Miami Corrections, Shawn was not receiving the medication he needed. He expressed concerns for his safety and asked to be moved from his cell, fearing for his life. Tragically, his fears became reality when he was stabbed to death by another inmate, leaving our family heartbroken and searching for answers.

Shawn leaves behind four children and a girlfriend of over 20 years, all of whom are devastated by his loss. Our family is now faced with the overwhelming task of arranging his funeral and giving him the respectful burial he deserves. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to cover these expenses on our own.
