It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of my beloved sister, Sharmeka Seaberry, affectionately known as “Meka.” Meka recently became very ill, and despite our hopes and prayers, she lost her fight. Losing her has left a huge hole in our hearts, and we are now faced with the difficult task of planning her funeral and saying goodbye. The cost of a funeral is overwhelming, and my family and I are struggling to cover the expenses needed to honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves. Meka was the best little sister anyone could ask for—she was funny, caring, and loved her family deeply, especially her nieces and nephews. Her laughter and kindness brought so much joy into our lives, and she always ensured everyone around her felt loved and supported.
