Help Lay Sean Austin Smith to Rest
Donation protected
My name is Sonja, and I am reaching out for help after the sudden loss of my son, Sean Austin Smith. Sean was just 33 years old and had been my live-in caregiver, supporting me every day. Since he was 19, Sean struggled with blood clots, and after aging out of our insurance at 26, we could no longer provide him with the medication he needed. He also faced mental health challenges that made it difficult for him to hold a steady job. Last night, a severe blood clot caused a heart attack so extreme that he passed away on the way to the hospital. Our family lives paycheck to paycheck, and I am now faced with the overwhelming costs of putting my son to rest.
Sean was a gentle soul who found joy in gaming, music, and cooking. He adored his 8-year-old nephew, who was truly his best buddy, and he loved spending time with his dog. We were in the middle of watching the Lilo & Stitch TV Series together, and I will always cherish those moments. Sean chose to stay home because he wanted to avoid trouble, knowing his own challenges. He was a good man with a big heart, and I miss him deeply every day.
I am asking for help to cover the costs of Sean’s memorial and the medical bills that have come from the emergency services. Any support you can offer will help us give Sean the farewell he deserves and ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can provide.
