It is with shattered hearts that we announce the sudden passing of my beloved aunt, Sade Allen. She was more than just an aunt; she was the heart of our family, a devoted wife, a brilliant chef who fed everyone with love, a loyal friend, and a nurturing mother to five beautiful children, including a newborn baby girl who is only two weeks old.

After bringing her beautiful baby girl into the world just two weeks ago, Sade’s life was tragically cut short following what we believe was severe, preventable negligence at Christ Hospital. After an aggressively handled epidural left her unable to move half her body, she was forced to endure a spinal tap, only for the hospital to later discharge her while she was suffering from a blood clot that they dismissed as insignificant. The clot subsequently moved to her heart immediately upon returning home. Her passing has left a void that can never be filled and a family in immediate, desperate need.

This tragedy has placed an immense financial burden on her husband and family during their most vulnerable moment.
