On June 17th, my younger brother, Richard Burgett III, was found dead at 6:18 pm. The exact cause is still unknown. He was a goofy soul, always trying to make others laugh, even at his own expense. Life was hard on him, but he rarely let that show.

This is an unexpected tragedy that took my only brother at 26 years of age. My parents are both in financial situations that leave them unable to fund my brother’s funeral. Due to his age, none of us had a life insurance policy on him. I’m writing this in hopes those who are willing and able can donate to help us put my brother to rest. My family and I appreciate everyone’s kind words and thoughts in this terrible time.
