Monday afternoon, when I hadn't gotten my good morning sunshine text I receive every morning from my mama, worry took in. Rushing to her, I found that my sweet mama has returned to heaven. Rhonda Effinger, 61, of Longview, WA, passed away early Monday morning due to natural causes. She is survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and about 30 others that call her mom or Gigi. My mom’s life revolved around family; she was a full-time Gigi and the best mother. She was my best friend and backbone. Without her, I truly don’t know how to hold myself up. But I will do just that for her. I’m asking for any help in this so difficult time to lay her to rest and take care of her final needs. These past two years have been the roughest and most lost to our family, but that’s when you remember you need your people and always reach out. Life is short and so unpredictable.
