Penny Brown was an extraordinary woman who got dealt an unfavorable hand at life. She was born with Cerebral Palsy and survived a long while for someone with her condition. Very independent, she did anything for her son, her family, and the people close to her. She loved conversation, music, and enjoyed her favorite shows and foods. She overcame a lot in her life and was strong for as long as she could be.

I work part time, making tips, and had resided with my mom to get back on my feet. With her condition, our household has been on a fixed income. Anything helps—I want to be able to keep my mom at peace, but I don’t have enough time or resources. The funds will help me and my family with the services and cost of cremation.

Any support will be appreciated in this time. My mom never got a break in her life from the day she was born—she was fighting. From cerebral palsy to the death of her parents to raising a child as a single parent, she never let her disability or her wheelchair define her. I wish we had more time to plan, but in reality, no one ever gets time. I want her to get the proper rest she deserves because even with all the struggles, she raised and took care of me the best she could, 100% of the time.
