Update: Patsy Has Been Laid to Rest
On Friday, June 13th, we laid my mother Patsy Hysell to rest at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Conrad, Montana — just as she wished. It was a quiet, sacred goodbye. A day heavy with sorrow, but full of love.
We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. Your donations, shares, and kind words carried us through one of the hardest weeks of our lives.
However, the journey isn’t finished.
While she has been buried, we are still working to pay off the funeral home and purchase her headstone — something simple, meaningful, and worthy of her memory.
If you’re able to continue supporting — or share the fundraiser with others — it would mean the world to us. Every bit helps bring closure to this chapter and honors her life in a lasting way.
With love and continued thanks,
The Hysell/Anderson Family

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
My name is Jesse, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. On May 30th, 2025, my mother Patsy Hysell left this world. She was a tough and tender soul — a Star Wars-loving, laughter-giving, quietly powerful woman who lived through pain with grace and fought every day with courage.
In the wake of her passing, we are now preparing to lay her to rest in Conrad, Montana, where she wished to be buried near loved ones. This moment — deeply emotional, deeply sacred — comes with unexpected financial challenges.
We are humbly asking for support to help cover her funeral and burial expenses, which amount to approximately $10,000 USD. This amount is needed in U.S. currency to fulfill her burial in the States. Every dollar will go directly toward funeral arrangements, transportation, and securing a peaceful final resting place for her.
If you knew my mother, you knew a woman who never gave up — even when her body gave her every reason to. She lived with a chronic autoimmune illness that caused her constant pain, yet she showed up for her son, her loving husband, her many grandchildren and her many rescue pets with unmatched love and devotion. She was broken in body, but never in spirit.
If you feel moved to help, please know that any amount — no matter how small — truly helps. And if you can’t give financially, simply sharing this page would mean the world.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for honoring the memory of my mom. May her spirit live on in every kind act.
With love and gratitude,
Jesse & family
