My name is Stacy, and I’m raising funds to honor my mom, Patricia Guillory, and fulfill her final wish: to be buried next to her beloved son in Texas. Patricia was the heart of our family, always happy and giving, never turning away anyone in need. She lived her life for her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, and her door was always open to anyone who needed food or shelter. Even when she had little, she would give her last dollar to help someone else.
Patricia’s bond with her only son, my older brother, was unbreakable. After losing him at 27 to heart complications, she never stopped grieving. She told us countless times that she wanted to rest beside him, and she made me promise not to cremate her. Now, I want to honor that wish and bring her home to Texas, where she can be laid to rest next to him. The costs of transporting her, arranging the funeral, and bringing our family together are overwhelming. We’ve spent everything we have just to get this far, and now we’re struggling to cover the expenses for her burial, travel, and even basic needs like groceries and gas.
My mom was Cajun and loved nothing more than cooking big meals for her family, especially during the holidays. She was emotional, always praying and crying with joy when we were all together. She loved Christmas, fall, John Wayne movies, and always had her Bible in hand, sharing her faith with everyone. This year, the holidays will be so hard without her, but we want to give her the beautiful resting place she deserves. Any help to get her home and honor her memory means the world to us. Thank you for supporting our family during this heartbreaking time.
