Our mom was our guiding light — kind, loving, and never judgmental. She had a mischievous sense of humour and could always make us laugh, especially when she sang off-key at the top of her lungs. Our family’s running joke was, “I hope you can dance, because you can’t sing!”
We want to give her a respectful, loving farewell. Unfortunately, the costs for her burial plot, headstone, and funeral service are more than we can manage right now. A small portion may also go toward accessible transportation for our father, who uses a wheelchair, and for us to attend the service, as we don’t have a car or drive.
Our family is carrying a heavy financial burden. Dad’s income mostly goes to his nursing home care, and I’m the 24/7 caregiver for one of my sisters, who has an intellectual disability and undergoes hemodialysis, just as Mom did.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us honour her memory and give her the peaceful rest she deserves. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page — it truly helps.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, generosity, and support. We’ll be forever grateful for each of you who helps us honour her memory.
