On May 30th, our beloved Amani Edwards, just 9 years old, tragically drowned, leaving a profound emptiness in our hearts. Amani was a vibrant light whose laughter and spirit brought joy to all who knew her.

Her mother, Kim Lawrence, has devoted 20 years of her life as a teacher in our community, nurturing and guiding countless children. Her kindness and dedication have made a lasting impact on us all. Agape, Amani’s brother, has been a beacon of excellence at Emerson High School, embodying the perseverance and strength that runs in their family.

As they navigate this unimaginable loss, my family and I are asking for your support to help cover the memorial services for Amani on behalf of Kim and Agape.
