Our family is heartbroken to share the passing of my nephew, Tommy Jones. A beloved son, brother, and father, and his wife. He had his moments, but he loved deeply and was a good person at heart. Addiction and mental health were challenges he faced, but they did not define him. He leaves behind three beautiful boys who meant everything to him and are now being lovingly cared for by their grandmother.
He had a way of making people laugh and could light up a room with his personality. He loved fishing, speaking his mind, and standing up for others. If he considered you family, he would do anything for you. He loved deeply—especially his mother, his sisters, his brothers, his wife, and his children. He struggled with addiction and mental illness, but that was not all of who he was. He was working to turn his life around. While in prison, he had begun making positive changes and was focused on doing better, with hopes of moving to a lower security level. He had hope, and he was trying.
Tragically, he passed away in prison after suffering multiple seizures. We are asking for help to give him the proper burial he deserves and to ease the financial burden on his mother during this incredibly painful time. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward funeral expenses. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this and keeping our family in your prayers. Thank you for your love, support, and compassion during this time. Services will be announced at a later time.
