Hello everyone, my name is Yasmine Mandania and my family is heartbroken to announce that my father Nazir Sultani, passed unexpectedly on November 3rd 2025. He left behind my mother, my younger brother and myself. We are grieving the sudden loss of my father, all while trying to arrange his funeral.

My father was someone who dedicated his whole life to reaching the ends of the earth to provide for us. He was the foundation of everything. He served in the US Military for 6 years and was deployed in Afghanistan for all 6 years. He came back in 2014 where he was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Since 2014, my father experienced many things that he never deserved but we were there to support him every step of the way. He didn’t deserve the mental battles that he fought internally in the last 10 years of his life that he fought so hard to overcome all the way to the end.

We currently live in Texas and are trying to have him buried back home in California next to his mother and father. California was our home and we always said we’d make our way back there one day. I would like to fulfill his wishes of having his burial next to his mother and father so that we can live knowing we laid his soul to rest where he will never be alone. Unfortunately, the cost of transporting my dad to California and arranging the funeral services are overwhelming. We are seeking support to help cover the cost of some expenses. This amount that I set to reach to help my mom is just half of what we’re looking at paying for his funeral expenses. But I know the entire amount is impossible to reach, so I want to raise anything more than nothing. Anything and everything helps tremendously and we’d appreciate any support anyone can give us at all. Kind words, donations, sharing the posts, thoughts and prayers are all immensely appreciated.
