My 19-year-old son Rogelio G Suarez, was found dead in a canal with two gunshot wounds after being missing for five days. He was a good kid with a light that shone bright, always making those around him laugh with his sense of humor. As the oldest of my children, he was a role model to his siblings and held deep-rooted beliefs in God. He was generally a happy kid, and his presence brought joy to everyone who knew him.

This tragedy was completely unexpected and has left our family devastated. We are now faced with the heartbreaking task of laying him to rest, something no parent should ever have to do. The pain of losing him is immeasurable, and the suddenness of his passing has left us unprepared for the expenses that come with saying goodbye.
