Help Lay My Mom Addie to Rest – A Son Fighting to Honor Her

We recently lost my mom, Addie — the woman who raised me, protected me, and gave me everything when I needed it most. She was more than just a parent — she was my greatest supporter and closest friend.

Now, while grieving the most painful loss of my life, I’m also being asked to carry the full weight of her burial alone. The funeral home is asking for $12,000 by this Friday, and unfortunately, my mom passed without any savings, insurance, or assets to cover the cost. I’m trying to honor her final wish — a proper burial, not cremation — but I simply don’t have the funds.

We shared a home and split bills, and now that she’s gone, I’m also at risk of losing the place we lived together. I’m already over $11,000 in debt from a business that collapsed, and the burden of this cost could leave me without transportation, housing, or even stability.
