My father was a carpenter for many years, but he fell on hard times and did not set up a will, funeral instructions, or insurance. His passing was very sudden, and our family was unprepared for the expenses. He was a flawed man, a troubled man, hilarious and loving. But he was real. As his son, I want to send him off with dignity and I’m grateful he’s found a peace he’s never known.

The funds raised will help cover my father's funeral and burial expenses, allowing us to give him a dignified farewell and lighten the burden on my grandmother, who is grieving the loss of her firstborn. Any and all help is appreciated and I can’t express how much it means to our family. This was very sudden and still feels unreal. My grandmother is burdened with the pain of having to lay her first born to rest. I would like to lighten that weight as much as I can.
