Help Lay My Beloved Mother to Rest in Her Homeland

Dear friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you during this time of grief. My beloved mother, Yolanda Colon, passed away recently, and I am struggling to manage the financial burdens of her cremation, shipping of her ashes, and the burial in her homeland, the Dominican Republic. The costs are extremely overwhelming.

I am her only daughter, and it is a difficult and painful journey for me to navigate. My mother was a wonderful, compassionate woman who dedicated her life to teaching. She taught children, teenagers, and adults in the Dominican Republic, and her students loved her dearly. She had a natural gift for connecting with people and was always kind, sympathetic, and supportive.

Despite living with an enlarged heart, she continued to pour her love and energy into educating others. She made a profound impact on the lives of many and was cherished by all who knew her. Her students often spoke of her with admiration, and her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.

I want to honor her by bringing her back to her homeland and laying her to rest in the place she loved most. She would have wanted to rest peacefully in the DR, surrounded by the people and the land she devoted her life to.

As her only daughter, I am doing everything I can to make this happen, but I need your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will help me honor her life.

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, me dirijo a ustedes en este momento de duelo. Mi amada madre, Yolanda Colón, falleció recientemente, y me encuentro luchando para cubrir los costos de su cremación, el envío de sus cenizas y su entierro en su tierra natal, la República Dominicana. Los gastos son extremadamente abrumadores.

Soy su única hija, y este es un camino difícil y doloroso para mí. Mi madre fue una mujer maravillosa y compasiva que dedicó su vida a la enseñanza. Enseñó a niños, adolescentes y adultos en la República Dominicana, y sus estudiantes la adoraban profundamente. Ella tenía un don natural para conectar con las personas y siempre fue amable, simpática y solidaria.

A pesar de vivir con un corazón agrandado, continuó brindando su amor y energía para educar a otros. Tuvo un impacto profundo en las vidas de muchas personas y fue querida por todos los que la conocieron. Sus estudiantes a menudo hablaban de ella con admiración, y su legado sigue vivo en las innumerables vidas que tocó.

Quiero honrarla trayéndola de vuelta a su tierra natal y enterrarla en el lugar que más amaba. Ella hubiese querido descansar en paz en la República Dominicana, rodeada de las personas y el país a los que dedicó su vida.

Como su única hija, estoy haciendo todo lo posible para hacer esto realidad , pero necesito su apoyo. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, me ayudará a honrar su vida.
