It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Michelle Benavidez, who passed away on April 17th at the age of 52.

Michelle was born in California but spent most of her life in Los Lunas, New Mexico, a place she called home and where she built her life around family, love, and creativity. She was a strong, compassionate, and deeply caring person who touched the lives of so many.

She had a passion for creating; whether it was writing, making clothes, or designing stickers, she found joy in expressing herself and sharing that joy with others. She was also someone who always opened her heart and her home to those in need. Whether it was friends, family, or kids who needed a safe place, she was always there without hesitation.

Michelle loved all of her children and all of her grandchildren with her whole heart. Her family meant everything to her, and she made sure everyone around her felt that love every single day.

Michelle experienced deep loss in her life, including the passing of her son at just 16 years old, a pain she carried with strength every day. Despite everything, she continued to show love, kindness, and resilience.

To me, she was everything. I always wanted to be by her side no matter where she was. She was my comfort, my strength, and my best friend.

We are asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward laying Michelle to rest and helping our family navigate this loss.
