On August 3rd, 2025, Michael Stroud—a devoted father, grandfather, and friend—lost his battle with cancer. Michael was known for his giving spirit, his sense of humor, and his unwavering presence for those he loved. He was always checking in on his granddaughter Genesis, making sure she was cared for and supported, and he brought laughter and warmth to every gathering with his random jokes and caring nature. His absence is deeply felt by all who knew him, especially his son Jonathan and granddaughter Genesis, who miss his love and light every day.

Michael believed he had prepared for the future by setting up a life insurance policy, but the policy required two full years to take effect, and he passed away before that time was reached. This has left Jonathan and Genesis facing unexpected and significant expenses for Michael’s final arrangements. The cost of funeral and memorial services has been overwhelming, and the suddenness of Michael’s passing has made it even more difficult for his family to manage these costs. Their wish is to give Michael a respectful farewell, honoring his memory with his favorite song, “Simple Man” by Bad Company, and gathering loved ones to celebrate his life.
