Help Us Give Michael Sinyard a Proper Goodbye Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters, It is with the heaviest of hearts that we reach out to you today in the wake of an unimaginable tragedy. On January 14th, 2025 our beloved Michael Freddie Sinyard, a bright and loving 16-year-old, was tragically taken from us in Riverdale, Georgia.   

His untimely passing has left our family shattered, searching for answers, and struggling to find the means to lay him to rest with the dignity and love he deserves.

Michael was reported missing, and his mother, Melissa Ann Sinyard, received the heartbreaking news of his death not from authorities, but through a devastating message from the person he was last seen with. With little information surrounding the circumstances of his passing, our family is left in turmoil, seeking both justice and closure. We are working with local authorities who need additional support to piece together what happened to Michael, and any assistance from the community is deeply appreciated.

Michael was more than just a teenager; he was a gift to our family, born on Christmas Day, a day that carries deep spiritual meaning. Being born on such a special day symbolized hope, light, and joy for us all.

From the moment he came into this world, he brought an unexplainable warmth and a beautiful spirit that touched everyone he met.

He was intelligent, full of life, and had a heart that overflowed with kindness and laughter. Michael’s presence lit up every room, and his absence leaves an unfillable void in our hearts.

Throughout his life, Michael was a source of joy and inspiration. As a toddler, his infectious laughter and playful energy brought happiness to everyone around him.

As he grew, his curiosity and determination shone through in everything he did, whether it was excelling in school or simply being a loving son, brother, and friend.

His 16th birthday, celebrated just this past Christmas, was a day filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future—dreams that were taken from him far too soon.

Michael leaves behind a family who loved him dearly, including his devoted mother, Melissa Ann Sinyard, his father Patrick Shawn Redeye, and his older brother James Patrick Bowman, Maw-Maw Pasty & Rockie Clendening Aunt Alicia Clendening, Unlce Bubba who now mourns the loss of his younger sibling. He will also be missed by his grandmother Mary Lou Sinyard, aunts Shelia Ann Sinyard and Priscilla Annette Garner, as well as his cousins Timothy James Sinyard, Kristin Haley Blaisdell, Heather Ann Sinyard, Austin Cole Garner, and Dustin Ryan Garner. His great cousins, including Raelynn Blaisdell, Aaliyah Sinyard, Jayden Sinyard, Ryder Blaisdell, Ridge Blaisdell, Dustin Jr Garner, and Avalynn, will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

As we face the unimaginable pain of losing Michael, we humbly ask for your support in giving him a proper farewell. Our family does not have the financial means to cover funeral expenses, and any donation—no matter how small—will help us ensure that Michael is laid to rest with the love, respect, and dignity he deserves. Your generosity will also provide his mother with a place to visit and honor her youngest child, offering a small source of comfort in this devastating time.
