Tragically killed by wild dogs, my nephew Marsaun faced more challenges in his short life than most people could ever imagine. In recent years, he disappeared from contact and lived on the streets, facing the harsh realities of homelessness and mental illness. Recently, Marsaun was found in the desert, having been killed by a pack of wild dogs. He was found with only a blanket, pillow, and walking stick. One of the last conversations I had with him, he told me he wanted to be buried, not cremated, and to rest near his family at Green Hills Memorial Park. Marsaun was destitute at the time of his passing, and our family is now trying to honor his final wish. The funds raised will go entirely towards burial costs at Green Hills Memorial Park and will also cover the transportation of his remains from Victorville to Green Hills.
