Help Lay My Mother, Maria Soto to Rest

Dear family, friends, and cherished community:

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support as we raise funds to cover the funeral and burial expenses for my mother, Maria M. Soto. After a courageous battle with stage 4 liver cancer, my mom took her final breath on April 28, 2025. She passed with the same strength, grace, and deep love that she lived life with.

My mom was the kind of woman who gave generously, even with the very little she had. She held our family together through every hardship, loving us all beyond measure. One of her final wishes was to be laid to rest alongside the ashes of my niece, Cecilia. We are doing everything we can to honor that wish and give her the dignified burial she deserves.

Con el corazón en duelo, me acerco a ustedes para pedir su apoyo en este momento tan difícil. Mi mamá, María M. Soto, falleció el 28 de abril del 2025, tras una valiente lucha contra el cáncer de hígado en etapa 4. Partió con la misma fortaleza, dignidad y amor profundo con los que siempre vivió.

Mi madre fue una mujer generosa, que daba todo lo que podía, incluso cuando tenía muy poco. Fue el pilar de nuestra familia, el corazón que nos sostuvo durante las etapas más duras de la vida. Uno de sus últimos deseos fue descansar junto a las cenizas de mi sobrina Cecilia, y estamos haciendo todo lo posible para cumplir con ese deseo y brindarle la despedida que se merece.

Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos del funeral y entierro. Si pueden apoyarnos con una donación (por pequeña que sea) se los agradeceremos profundamente. Y si en este momento no pueden donar, les pedimos de corazón que compartan esta colecta con sus redes. Cada oración, cada palabra, cada gesto de solidaridad cuenta y queda con nosotros.
