My name is Michael, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after losing both of my beloved rescued cats, Garfield and Manchitas, within just a few days of each other. Garfield, my sweet boy, passed away from apparent kidney issues, and not even four days later, his sister Manchitas died from lung problems. Both were rescued from the street and quickly became cherished members of my family. I did everything I could to care for them, but due to circumstances, I couldn’t always keep them inside my home. Their sudden loss has left my family and me devastated.

I was able to cover Garfield’s funeral expenses, but it left me in debt by a couple of thousand dollars. When Manchitas passed away so unexpectedly, I simply didn’t have the resources to give her the respectful farewell she deserves. Right now, both of my babies are being held by the hospital, and it breaks my heart that I can’t bring them peace. The funds raised here will go directly to Manchitas’s funeral expenses—nothing else.
