It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Larry Nelson, a devoted father, car enthusiast, and lifelong sports fan. Larry was born on May 1, 1958, and passed away on July 5, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with COPD and pneumonia.

Larry was a caring father of four, a man who loved deeply and gave his all to his family. He had a passion for sports, a love for cars, and a heart full of generosity. He fought his illness with strength and determination, but sadly, God called him home.

His passing came suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving his loved ones devastated and unprepared financially. The cost of living has made it difficult for the family to save for such a tragic event, especially while trying to keep up with day-to-day responsibilities and medical needs.

We are asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover Larry’s transportation from Toledo, OH to Detroit, MI and to assist with funeral expenses. This support will go directly to helping his family give Larry the peaceful, dignified farewell he deserves.
