We are raising funds to help lay Yolanda, lovingly known as “Landa,” to rest. Landa was a sweet, loving, and devoted woman whose entire world revolved around her four children, her granddaughter, and her mother. She cared for them with a selfless heart and always put her family first. Sadly, her health took a sudden and devastating turn. Landa was hospitalized multiple times as doctors tried to determine what was wrong. At first, they believed it was liver cancer. Later, they said it wasn’t. Then they diagnosed her with cirrhosis of the liver, only to later say that wasn’t the cause either. With so much uncertainty and back and forth between hospitals, her condition continued to worsen. By the time she was finally transferred to a hospital better equipped to help her, it was unfortunately too late. Her liver had already failed, and her passing came far sooner than anyone expected.

Because of how sudden everything happened, Landa did not have life insurance and her family did not have time to prepare for this heartbreaking loss. Now her children are left grieving the loss of their mother and holding onto the memories she gave them. We are asking for any support you can give to help the family cover funeral expenses and give Landa the peaceful and dignified homegoing she deserves.
