Help lay Kip to rest.
Our beloved son Kip Charles Kesner was born to eternal life on Friday, June 18, 2021. He was four months old. Kip was born to Dustin and Molly Kesner on January 21, 2021, in Mequon, Wisconsin.
After struggling with congenital heart disease Kip passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his parents. In his short few months on Earth he brought joy to many people. He loved listening to music, watching his mobile, and bouncing around in the arms of family and friends. We are grateful to have seen his bright smile and hear his joyous laugh before heading into eternal life.
We are so fortunate to have so many family members and friends support. They have meant the world to us. ❤️ Hopefully you all know we love you all and are so grateful for you!
Kip was born a seemingly healthy baby. About a week into his life we found out he had a heart defect. Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia and mapcas along with some holes in his heart.
He had been through 1 surgery where he had a shunt placed to help grow his pulmonary artery. We were in the hospital for 3 weeks after surgery as he recovered.
After his surgery we were home for a few weeks and so grateful! Then he went into acute heart failure because he caught an everyday regular cold. He was struggling to breath and gasping for air. It took my daughter 2 days to recover from her cold, it took Kip 3 weeks to recover.
Once the pulmonary artery grew enough he had open heart surgery on May 24th to fix the anatomy of his heart. He once again had been in the hospital for the 3 weeks trying to recover. In the weeks following he had multiple complications.
