Our community has lost such a genuine and kind soul this week. Kim was not only a wonderful mother but a dedicated daughter, a sister, a friend to so many, and so much more. She had such an infectious laugh, and my heart goes out to every single person who loved her.

I'm writing this to help her family lay her to rest. The burden of the cost is going to lay heavily on her father, Randy, so we want to help ease that as much as possible for him. Randy has been such a pillar to this community for so long and the first to jump in and help without ever being asked in any situation. To know him is to love him, and he is broken right now. He has been the strong one for so long and now it’s our turn to be strong for him and Kim’s mom Kelly. Kelly worked for years at the domestic violence shelter and cared for so many. She’s helped our community throughout the years is so many ways. Kim left behind 2 children who are now in the care of her sister who will need help making room for them in her home so she can make sure they receive the best care possible. Funds are tight already so every single cent will be used to help this sweet family.
