Joseph Benjamin Anthony Alderete passed away unexpectedly February 14, 2026 at the age of 49. Whether you knew him as Joseph, Joe, Jose, Puff or Benji, you know what a huge heart he had and how much he loved his family and friends.

Although Joseph suffered many health problems, we were not expecting his sudden passing. He did not have life insurance or a savings and had not made funeral arrangements. He lost a lot of the little he owned in the Eaton fire. He had been on disability for a couple of years due to a workers comp knee injury and struggled physically and financially.

I am asking those he cared about most to help him through this, his final journey home to be with our Mom and Dad and so many he loved that left this earth before him.

Please keep Joseph and our family in your thoughts and prayers. I will announce service arrangements as soon as I can.

Rest in Peace Little Brother. You will forever be missed and loved. I love you Joe.
